I know this thread has been dead for a while, but I wanted to point out, this has most definitely moved well beyond youtube, and encompasses twitter as well. I've run into them. They all follow one another, like a pack of dogs, and when they find a Christian, they unmercifully tear them apart until the Christian stops using twitter. Even when blocked, they have multiple sock accounts, and just keep making more. I think we as believers, need to band together in a similar way to defend one another when this sort of thing happens. I think it's the only way to keep us from being pushed out of social media...

In my experience people on Twitter aren't singled out for being Christian, they are singled out for saying something deemed stupid or offensive on Twitter.  Obviously that doesn't give people a right to say some of the things that get said, but it does give the right for people to respond to the comments (Twitter is, after all, a worldwide forum).

Is asking a simple honest question offensive or stupid now?

Who said anything about simple honest questions? You just said Christians are picked on.

You must be unaware. I started a thread elsewhere documenting such an instance. Where a Christian asked a simple question and was then eviscerated by a pack of atheists and their sock accounts with some of the most vile, filthy, vulgar language imaginable. They told me they had to block over 2 dozen accounts to get things under control.

They've asked me to not bring it up anymore. They want to just let it go and try to keep the peace. Sad that people are forced to feel that way because of a bunch of bullies...
