Starting with the 'Big Bang'....

First they tell us;

1. First there was nothing,

2. Then it exploded...

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.... :crazyguy:

“Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist,”

http://blogs.reuters...tephen-hawking/

For some reason Hawking believes that gravity created the universe.... Despite

1- The Law of Gravity doesn't "create" anything, rather its simply explains phenomena.

2- Gravity itself requires mass in order to act.... Which means something "existed" in order to provide the mass in order for gravity to create the universe....

Right. Yet another example of a 'scientific' conclusion without a trace of empirical evidence.

Yep,  "the universe can and will create itself from nothing".... Absolutely, Mind Numbing

I'd bet the farm he can't differentiate between a Scientific Theory and a Law OR know what either are !!!

Another Gem from 'The Grand Design' by the Crowned Grand Poobah of Science and the Pinnacle of Intellectual Atheistic Elitism states, and I quote:

"....Philosophy is DEAD.  Philosophy has not kept up with modern developments in science, particularly Physics. Scientists have become the bearers of the torch of discovery in our quest for knowledge."

Can you see the Clumsy Childlike Contradiction?  It's a Philosophical Statement :gigglesmile: ; ERGO, his statement is DEAD.  It's a Full On --- Hammer meet c4 fire scenario.  My 12 year old daughter can run logical circles around his worshipfullness.
