I truly am amazed by God's wonderful creatures. Evolutionists will chalk this one up to 'adaption' or 'survival' but I call it intelligent design that a creature with the brain the size of a pea can fly 8000 miles!

Let's one up that. The Bristle-thighed Curlew flight of 5000 miles is non stop...!

The Godwit feeds until fat builds up to 55% of their total weight. Then, they stop eating and their intestines, kidneys, and liver shrivel up. They are full of this fuel now, lightened organs, and ready for their trip. These birds will then fly south for 6800 miles at about 45 mph (72 kph).

Want to read more about how they store this fat? How do these birds make the trip without stopping? How do they know where to go without getting lost? A GPS of course...! Posted Image

Check out this link http://creation.com/wings-on-the-wind for more info on these amazing birds and their migration patterns.

Truly a fine example of our Creator's Intelligent Design!

Yes the entire system is inbuilt into their body and probably uses the Earths magnetic fields as a means of calculating position... Its an innate ability, like a person's ability to digest food
