I thought this would be an interesting thread.

Do you believe in the supernatural?

If you are an evolutionist or atheist, how did these entities evolve?

Let the discussion begin!

I don't believe in human ghosts. I believe that demons are invisible spirits and I think that "ghosts" are actually demons that pretend to be the ancestors of the people they communicate with in order to gain their trust and servitude. I believe that people who say they are communicating with aliens, ghosts, angels, and spirits (in the past there were goblins and fairies) are probably communicating with a demon that they believe is a helpful alien, ghost, angel, or spirit. That's just my hunch.

Yes. C.S. Lewis said a quote like: You are a soul you have a body. Some friends on facebook have had their house haunted, and another one had their house haunted after they just moved in. It's a good idea to stay away from witchcraft and focus on all-powerful Jesus-God. God good devil bad.

I don't dabble in that area at all. It just made me think. If evolutionists/atheists believe such things exist, how do they explain them?

Lol, I thought I was the only one who thought ghosts are demons. It makes the most sense, schools where no children have died can be haunted by schoolchildren. Doesn't fit. I believe in ghosts/ spirits mostly due to personal experience and that of my families. I also find it strange that my Mom believes in ghosts/spirits yet doesn't believe in God.

Have you asked her how did these ghosts came to be, like, how did they evolve?

Yes, of course. I've counseled with people for 28 yrs, some of whom were deeply demonized and needed deliverance from evil. I've also been in at least four houses that had serious poltergeist activity, one of which took nearly two full years to 'clean house' of the devils in the power of Jesus. I just never broached the subject here on this forum. I wasn't sure what Mr. Williams thought about such things and it always causes such a strong reaction...i.e. the kind I got from the folks on Worthy Christian Forums this week.

I overlooked this question.

Answer: All 'ghosts' are spirits created by God. Some are angels and some are devils. Those spirits that inspired fear are always devils (II Tim. 1:7). They can be driven out of a persons life or home by prayer, confession of sin (when necessary) on the basis of God's Word and the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Angels, on the other hand most normally make their appearance to man undetected until later (Hebrews 13:2) and they always leave a good feeling and a blessing in one way or another.

Yes I certainly do.

My ex-girlfriend had a heavy fan literally FLY at her to hit her in the shoulder when her back was turned. Its very heavy at least a couple of kilos, and in order to hit her in the shoulder it would have had to get higher.

She's also told me of other crazy things that have occurred to her before. I'm very thankful that none of that stuff happens to me.

As to what it was, I can only guess.
