Hello everyone, my cousin died yesterday afternoon from a prescription drug overdose. He had struggled with drugs throughout most of his highschool life, and eventually had to drop out of college. He was only 24 years old.

This wasn't unexpected, because we knew that at the rate he took his drugs that there was no way he was going to live much longer. My aunt and uncle tried to keep him in rehab, and they tried to keep the drugs away from him, but it never worked because he always found a way around them.

Unfortunately just about a month ago, he almost killed another person in a car accident, and this only made his drug problem worse as he fell into a depression.

Please keep my family in your prayers.

Sorry to hear that scott. Having lost a very close family member (my mom) last month, I know what you are going through. I will be praying.

I thank you all for the prayers and concerns. Tonight will be visitation, and tomorrow we will be having the funeral. It's a little strange having a funeral for someone so young, and someone that I grew up with.
