The debate will be about the existence of God and about the beginning of the universe.
I hope that it will turn out well. The guy is open minded and I think that the Lord can work in his heart. The debate will be available to download later. It will be audio only on Skype. So please pray for me and pray that the Lord may work in him.
Sunday at 10am pacific time there will be a debate on a radio show on creation vs evolution and he will take part in it. So pray that if I won't be able to bring him to the Lord, the guys he will debate will be able to...
The debate will be here...

The debate started out with our 5 minute intros and than we got straight into our arguments. The debate was about the existence of God and the beginning of the universe. I presented my arguments really well. My main argument was that time could have not existed forever and therefore it must have had a beginning, if there was not time there was no matter and if there was no matter there was no space (not exactly that, but close to that) and those things needed a cause to came into existence.
Lewis - during his main argument - did not make any important points or anything. We was not exactly on the atheistic point of view, but more on the agnostic side. He is not sure if there is a God or not.
After our arguments we would have time to respond to each-other's arguments, in my response... I did not do too good. I mean, he did not have any important claims, and I think I touched on each of them, but I am not thanked with my performance during the my response. I still need more debate experience. I present my arguments really well, but I am not too good at responding.
His response was not too good either, but I think that it was a little better than mine.
Than we both had time for closing comments. In his closing comments, again, he did not make any big claims.
And when my turn came. I tried to respond to his last arguments as fast as I can, and then go into the "What if you are wrong?" thing. I did the Ray Comfort tactic. It did not went too good, but still... It could have gone worse.
Then we should have had 30 minutes of Q&A but it was too late for me (we lost 2 hours of the debate simply trying and testing our recording software) and we only did like 10-15 minutes of Q&A. One subject that came out was speciation. I responded to it, but I am sad that I did not have more time. I should have talked more about that.
All in all. It was good for my second live debate ever.
What are the conclusions? Well. I need to learn how to respond better. I should talk slower and louder. I need to think more before responding. I need much more experience.

What do you want me to do? Do you want me to split this thread or leave it, and maybe lock it, to keep this from becoming the prayer debate room.
