This clip from Igniter Media is very powerful:

All-in-all when I see the so-called Christians falling away and more people willing to reject their 'faith' it's not such a bad thing. I would rather know who to witness to, rather than feel good about a bunch of people being at church, who aren't saved.

Terrific and poignant message

At what time do the "so-called" Christians start following hard after the Lord, and become the committed Christians?

When they get smacked between the eyes with The Holy Spirit, and receive it, rather than run away.

From reading what most atheists say, they grew up in church. I guess they never really had the conversion experience, just went through the motions. I believe if you are truly saved there will be some evidence in your life. You would love the things God loves and hate the things that God hates. You would defend your faith from the faithless. You would love to be with other Christians and in the church.

I've heard testimonies from those that grew up in church but never got saved at that time, but did later in life so it can happen.

If you thought that one video was funny, I was searching through the videos on that channel and ran into this one. I dedicate it to all the Mothers out there. You will fall out of your seat laughing. I know I did. It's called Potty Talk. And no it's not what you think.

Ahhh, Parenthood. Although they're grown and out of the house with careers of they're own, I'd still do it again

Thanks Ikester, now I have to go watch some old home videos

Do we believe in God? I mean really? do we believe He is in control? got a grip on everything? I've been astonished to find out just what it is people believe about God these last few weeks, I mean christians even pastors and leaders who got saved by Noah [I mean his personal witness ;) ] there are so many isms in the church, there always was I suppose, catholicism, dispensationalism, Calvinism and Arminianism.I have been sharing with a pentecostal pastor of 40 years [a real dear] and he has picked up this open viewism, sometimes I have to cup my hand to my mouth to stop laughing. It's all these smart vid presentations people watch. This open viewism [it's coming to a pew near you] says that God purposely does not see into the future, i.e. He's as blind about it as we are ??? This both boggles me and bothers me, don't they read their bibles? about Him knowing the end from the beginning, th Alpha and the Omega? me I believe God knows exactly how many hairs are on my head, and perish the thought if one turns white He knows.
So wot am I rabbiting about now?
Just this, if we believe that God has got His finger on the pulse the most important thing fo christians if they want to win souls is to know what God's message IS for their generation, that's it, that's the whole kaboodle folks.
The message of the cross never changes, the forgiveness to be recieved, the newness of life in the spirit, the new birth, our need to come to Him. These have been from generation to generation the same, praise His name. BUT the revelation of this message DOESN'T stay the same, God opens it up anew for successive generations to meet the exact needs of that generation.
Jesus said Jonah preached God's message to Ninevah and they got saved, Solomon preached God's message to his generation and the Queen of Sheba came from the ends of the earth to hear it. John the Baptizer came with his message BUT He said there is One greater than He here. One time God plays funerals another time he plays weddings, I'm trying to show that the same people who mourn when God plays funerals are the same bunch who dance when He plays weddings and the same people who reject will reject. It is all worked out but it is VITAL for us to know what God IS saying because He will open the ears of people when they hear God's voice through the message HIS message.
I hear some good preachers being slagged as false prophets who are winning souls, don't make tha mistake, if someone is winning souls it is because they have God's message. That doesn't mean they are perfect or infallible, we still weigh what they are saying. But often the people who slag are not winning souls and they are preaching a revelation of the cross from 400 years ago. See my point? I'm writing this in response to the plastic Jesus posts. mebe I'm just spouting hot air.
