Because we get a lot of trouble makers through proxy servers, we won't be approving of any new sign ups that their IP connects to a proxy server. And anyone currently here that uses a proxy server to post will become under suspicion. So if you are a current member and use a proxy, you need to let us know, and why.

What is the purpose of using a proxy server? It allows your IP address not to be traced. Therefore you can cause havoc and no one knows who you are or what ISP you use. That is why we won't allow them to be used here. The forum program has a way to figure out who is using a proxy and who is not. And there are other methods available on the web as well to find this out.

We have denied about 10 sign ups from the same trouble maker this past month who uses a proxy. And we have had a rash of proxy users cause trouble, so it cannot be ignored anymore.

Seems that some are testing the proxy thing. I'm still blocking those who use them to sign up. If you find yourself blocked on sign up, you will have to register again not using a proxy or you will get blocked again.

Had to ban another member using proxies. That makes two this month.
