We had to put a dog down today. We had a 14 year old Bichon Friese that we adopted last year and my wife got attached to her very quickly. I think Abby had a stroke three days ago and lost almost all of her motor skills.

We made the call this morning. Pray for my wife, Lisa.

I'm very sorry. It's so hard to lose animals God has given us to care for. I'm praying that you will both have peace.

I can relate Adam. About three weeks ago we had our chow die on us. We had him for 14 years. There is not a day that goes by that something does not remind me of him. He suffered because he got sick on the week end and there are no vets open then. He got better for a day so we thought all was alright. Then he took a turn for the worse. I later figured out it was heart worms after stidying the symptons. But without a blood transfusion he died.

So I will be praying for you.

Thanks so much, everyone. I'm truly blessed by everyone here. All of you are a great group of friends. I look forward to meeting you all face to face in heaven some day. :)

Lisa, is doing well. I'm out on the other side of the state right now getting my taxes done by my sister. Lisa has the other two dogs to keep her distracted...

Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers.

I'm praying for you too, brother. Sorry about the loss. I love what Totton said it made me laugh out loud:

I'm sorry, Mirrordin. That's a really good run for a rabbit though isn't it? Not that it makes it any easier... :D

We didn't have her for very long but we got attached to her very quickly. Thanks so much for the prayers. Our lives are a little upside down right now for multiple reasons. I'm just glad she was in our lives for that short while.
