She's pretty good! I wonder if I can get her to do a couple of my worship songsDeadlock, started a thread with a video and song and it made me think that we should have a running thread with awesome worship music. If we already have one of these, please let me know. I'll be glad to merge them together, maybe even pin it if my superiors are okay with it.

I wouldn't merge the two threads Adam, but pinning this one would be a good idea

It's the Pastor's right hand man (my friend) who calls it a Bible thumping church, not just me.

That's cool. Do you lead worship at your church? Is that your picture in the Raiders shirt? The picture is a little creepy but the song is good.

Thanks for sharing.
What do you mean "a little creepy"?

I've been everything from the drummer, to guitarist to worship leader. I fill in where I'm needed at the time. I've also been the worship leader in prison ministries.

That's Awesome! I don't have any musical skills. I sing my heart out during worship. I pray for the poor souls around me.I've been everything from the drummer, to guitarist to worship leader. I fill in where I'm needed at the time. I've also been the worship leader in prison ministries.
We actually have a 'band' for our home group that consists of a piano, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and my wife sings, all in my little living room. The 'band' is half of the home group usually.

The acoustic guitarist put this (I should say mixed it, right?

Bang Bang (An Apologetic)
This is a re-mix of my original song. Tom of Pogue Project re-mixed it, added some backing vocals, a flute and some backing guitars.
Blessings

Bang Bang
Bang-Bang
Down slid the monkey from a limbless tree
Altering the truth, Relatively
As a distortion of the Dragon
he let’s the lies fly free (Indeed)
Old Chucky didn’t like the way the Word read
Or the truth in the facts of what the Son said
So as a phrophet of the Dragon
He looked for lies in the ground (all Around)
(Chorus)
Bang - Bang ……… Or so it goes
Bang - Bang ……… The story grows
Bang - Bang ……… If you tell it enough to the weak
(So don’t be weak)
Up slid the Serpent from beneath the tree
He wants to make a monkey
out of you and me
So he’s found enough minions
to present it convincingly
So he tries to infest the minds of the young
Like a parasite he strikes them deaf an dumb
He pulls the strings to make the weak in mind succumb (It’s enough)
(Chorus)
Bang - Bang ……… Did He really say
Bang - Bang ……… With His Word that way
Bang - Bang ……… In six consecutive days (Like it says)
Interlude
(Chorus)
Bang - Bang ……… Or so it goes
Bang - Bang ……… The story grows
Bang - Bang ……… If you tell it enough to the weak
(So don’t be weak)
If you happen to hear a hisssss from a forked tongue
My best advice to you is to stand on the Word
Cause not much has changed sense this old world fell
Up stood the WORD on a rough hewn tree
With arms outstretched...for you and me
To prove the truth written from the very start
(In His Heart)
(Chorus
Bang - Bang ……… The hammer fell
Bang - Bang ……… Reserved the Liar for Hell
Bang - Bang ……… And only the fool can deny (with his life)
Bang - Bang ……… Did He really say
Bang - Bang ……… With His Word that way
Big - Bang ……… In six consecutive days (Like He said)

My wife sang this at a small Baptist Church last week. I have to brag that God blessed me with a wife who has an angelic voice. By God's grace I believe that little Bible thumping Baptist church was blessed.

This was a song written out of anguish, and lowliness and a rough patch in my life. I’ll never feel like David (or at least I haven’t yet), but I believe I can empathize with him when I read his Psalms.

I always find your songs to be well written and inspired. David poured his heart out before God in humility and it was God's grace and mercy that made those cries touch His very heart. Keep 'em coming.

I first heard this song when I saw this video played at a church service in Maryland:
