Hi All

I am a christian, and really interested in reading these threads to learn more about OEC v's YEC, the global v's local flood, and theistic evolution, with the goal to learn what the bible really teaches about these issues.

I do not believe in evolution. However, I have never really given serious thought to YEC and the global flood, and hope to do so over the coming months. I also have an interest in Adam, and the reconciliation of OEC theory with biblical accounts.

Be blessed,
Andy

The water for a world wide flood has in found in a mineral wadsleyite. It exists in the upper mantle and contains 30 oceans of water: http://www.ldolphin....deepwaters.html

You can read about theistic evolution here: http://creationwiki....istic_evolution

You can read more about how YEC would work, because it was done in eternal time: http://creationwiki...._about_eternity

I do not believe in evolution. However, I have never really given serious thought to YEC and the global flood, and hope to do so over the coming months. I also have an interest in Adam, and the reconciliation of OEC theory with biblical accounts.
