Why is this a treasure? Here's a couple reasons.
If you add every chapter from Genesis to Psalm 116 you get 594 chapters.
If you add every chapter from Psalm 118 to Revelation 22 you get 594 chapters.
Stuck right in the middle is Psalm 117 which so "happens" to be the shortest chapter. "Strange coincidense"
Psalms is considered to be the "Heart" of Gods word. If you happen to add 594+594 you get 1188. If you add the middle chapter (Psalm 117) you get 1189 chapters.
If you look at Psalms 118:8 (1188) and Psalms 118:9 (1189) you'll notice two verses that almost repeat themselves one after the other. Verses which gives Believers some very foundational advice.

And how do we trust in the Lord if we didn't have His word, the Bible?
