Ants are awesome. There's this guy called Mark Moffett who wrote a book called "Adventures among Ants" fairly recently. It blew my mind, and I thought I knew a little something about ants...
He's a biologist and puts ants squarely in an evolutionary context, but I think it can be enjoyed even by people who disagree with that so I highly recommend it.

Wow! Thats pretty cool
I liked how the parents sometimes hand over their offspring to the ants, such a relationship could not have "evolved" much the same as the cleaner fish for sharks.
