its sad when christians join in line with them and claim the genesis account is meant to be an allegory without realising that proper exegesis must include how the first audience would have understand that account.

language words have meanings and what was written must have meanings. the ancient writers would have made it clear that the six day interpretation was an allegory. the talmud has allegory but not the bible. that i have found out from the jews when i look into the sages.

It's sad when christians compromise the bible on social issues hoping that their compromise will bring more converts. Or in hoping that if they believe hard enough that God will let EVERYONE into heaven despite their choices to refuse him. g*y marriage seems to be the compromise of the day, sorry but choosing sin over God shows where your servitude lies. One cannot serve two masters.
