When we complain about war, we often forget what put us into this war. My father was in WWII, and my grand father was in WWI. Both told me that it is better to fight them over where they are at, and not have them fight you where you are at.

Every war has it's casualties. Both the innocent, and the ones who are the killers. You cannot have one without the other. Though we have accomplished less of the dying of innocence because of technology that allows more precise targeting.

9-11 was an example of what happens when a country tries to be to nice and do nothing when we are attacked. Why should the enemy fear us, when they bomb us, and we do nothing? During the Clinton administration, our military, and our embassy was attacked on 5 different occasions. Clinton basically did nothing. Any president that does not react to a direct or indirect attack, sets his country up for a more direct attack like what we saw with 9-11.

Some might ask, what 5 attacks? Having to even ask shows you how lame Clinton's reaction was to each one. And why terrorist did not feel fear of us anymore. You can't make a deal with the devil, but we tried and look what happened? There's a saying, I don't remember the exact wording, but it goes something like this: If good men stand by and do nothing, evil will prevail..... As evil did on 9-11.

Here are some flash movies to remember 9-11.

WW1 and WW2 had a certain amount of clarity, i.e. the lines were drawn, the enemy was recognisable by uniform. Terrorism provides no such ‘luxury’ basically you don’t know who your enemy is, could be your next door neighbour! Very difficult to fight back.

The movies were done tastefully, but, IMO the sentiment of the movies lacked defiance.
As a contrast google images using blitz milkman, this is the Londoners equivalent. A very pwerfull image, and an appropriate one for 9/11 also IMO
