    The Supernatural Part Ii

Thanks Mike, you make some good points. I like the way you approach it and I think we are in agreement. This is the original Dynamo fish bucket trick. You can see the camera keeps switching and the people standing next to the fence are in different places in different shots: Myself, I like watching magician-stuff on TV or on youtube. It can be amazing to see some of the illusions and tricks they are able to pull off. Then I like to think about out how they do it. It's kind of like a puzzle, figuring out what they did. So for me I like seeing "how they did it". For some people it takes away the mystery but I also appreciate how skillfully the trick is pulled off. Take Care

    The Supernatural Part Ii

Hey Mike I watched that video but I think this one offers a better explanation:

Yes, exactly. But this is actually a true story, not a riddle. Basically this teacher was teaching fractions, and handed out a worksheet/quiz. So instead of writing a simple question - like "Which is bigger 4/6 or 5/6?" - the question was turned into the pizza word problem. It was kind of a trick question IMO. So the kid thought it was a riddle, and answered like you did, but the teacher marked it wrong. The link is the news article I was reading.

Thought this was interesting. So the teacher gives this question, kind of a trick question about fractions. But the kid answered it correctly and still got it wrong: Marty ate 4/6 of his pizza and Luis ate 5/6 of his pizza. Marty ate more pizza than Luis. How is that possible? http://www.inquisitr.com/2930983/this-math-problem-about-pizza-is-making-the-internet-so-very-confused-and-irate/

I Think, So Here I Am.

Ugh! Sorry Derek! For some reason I thought your name was Peter. I guess I need some coffee or something. I heard that about Orion, one of my favorites also. I wish I could see it more often; I often go camping in the summer and it's usually not visible by then. Take Care

I have gotten this also. I believe it's related to the previous hacked thread: http://evolutionfairytale.com/forum/index.php?/topic/6406-hacked/ I reported this a couple months ago:

    A Riddle Using Deductive Reasoning

Funny, I had a different solution. Fill the 3 gallon bottle with water and pour it into the 5 gallon - but do it 2 times. The second time you fill up the 5 gallon bottle the 3 gallon bottle will have 1 gallon left in it. Then completely empty the 5 gallon bottle. Pour the one gallon of water left in the 3 gallon bottle into the 5 gallon bottle. Then fill the 3 gallon bottle, and add it to the 1 gallon of water that's left in the 5 gallon bottle.

    A Riddle Using Deductive Reasoning

Ok, I definitely have my head scratching with that one. So I ruled out comparing the “greenest†of the lawns. It doesn’t matter because that is opinion. And I assumed that even though Bill and Bob are on the right and left, they both had an unknown neighbor with a lawn next to them. And I assume you mean “how could all three say the above and also it be a true statementâ€. Because obviously they could say anything they wanted to, whether it was true or not. As long as they can speak, all three could say it. The only other solution I could think of was if they were all standing in one yard, but that wouldn’t make sense because the statements are comparing their neighbor’s yard. As far as who could state it (and not be lying), I think I answered that. Either both Bill and Bob, or just John. I am going to hold off on googling it for now…
