  1. Could do that actually. I just got posted from the Deep South up to the Frozen North.
  2. Have you seen the cost of fuel here? We get taxed a fortune on it.
  3. I lack the logistics to carry out that experiment
  4. This is the bit I'm interested in - Many years ago, I thought I ferreted out the lions share of THE LIES... then @ the request of friends, I dropped it. What is the reason for all these lies, do you think?
  5. The clouds look like those 'i'm watching you' eyes people put above coffee and tea honesty boxes. Pretty nice.

    Beware The Believers

That was bloody hilarious. As are the comments. 'It's satire about what creationists think atheists think creationists think atheists thin creationists think atheists...ahh *aneurysm*' Dawkins in that suit before he breaks into the rap will give me nightmares. Creepy as.

    Living Dinosaurs

I'd just like to say that I'm from near Loch Ness, and Nessie is well known to be fictional.

I Think, So Here I Am.

I have been on a passing visit, but never been based there. I'm in the RAf and for the next month and a bit based right down south. Though pretty soon I'm back off up to the motherland

Yeovilton itself is also a massive naval airbase these days. Good choice not joining the navy, their uniform is horrendous

I know a few people from your home town lol, they're all all in the navy. Crazy bunch. Welcome aboard, shipper!

Yea, that's part of what I was commenting on and how that's quite cool.

Ah get you now I thought you meant me. Also, I thought you mentioned having the keys to your dad's car while drinking, when you actually said keys to a warehouse which drove people nuts. That was the only reason I mentioned not driving with a drink in me. A very confused couple of posts from me haha. Also it's very fitting that you used that word for angry exactly where you did. Over here it means very drunk and it's not a particularly rude word for it either. Kinda.

    Shalom All!

Pi said- No, no, no.... The money is better. I don't even like beer. Besides, you can't (legally) buy it. My father was a wholesale beer, wine, and liquor distributor. I had a key to the warehouse when I was 16 and it drove my friends nuts that I wasn't tapping into the inventory. Me- Umm...what? Lol. Do you mean I'm underage? Why thank you for the compliment, I have been using moisturiser but I am in fact well beyond the age of still getting ID'd haha. Edit- not that it ever mattered, Scotland has a bit of an underage drinking culture, I was getting drunk in parks and on street corners from about 14. Never drove with a drink in me though. Driving scares me enough when I'm sober haha.

We changed it to pints of beer.

    Shalom All!

I meant if you recognise the phrase and know which piece of entertainment I was quoting. Well probably paraphrasing by now, it must be around 7 years since I've seen it.

Hiyah Wow sarcasm...that's original A million points if you get the reference. Welcome aboard.

    Another What-If

Well, Mike, I didn't say that they were right in claiming Allah is the one true god or whatever the Muslim mantra is, just that it is the same deity they refer to. Muslims refer back to the same god in the bible and torah is all I'm saying.

    Another What-If

Isn't Allah technically the same god as the Christian and Jewish God? Just under different doctrine?

    Value Of A Human Being

Dave said - It sounds like you really would benefit from an in-depth study of Revelation. Me- I probably will do one day, quite a bit in the future. Along with the rest of the bible and many other religions. But to be honest even if it turns out the Christian god is the true one, I don't think I'd worship god if you know what I mean. I'd acknowledge the existence but I wouldn't be able to lie about the love part since god would be able to discern the truth.

    Value Of A Human Being

Wizy Mike- It's a hard subject and I don't want to debate again really. I'm trying to stay away but I keep getting dragged in to typing. Lol. Yea I was gonna say, you fail at just lurking Also don't worry I'm not trying to debate you, just seeking information.

    Value Of A Human Being

Mike and Dave, do you distinguish between not spending eternity in paradise in the glory of God and eternity in hellfire? Is it only one or the other? I think I read somewhere here once about those who do not accept god not having to spend eternity with him but no specific mention of eternal damnation either. Just simply not with god. Maybe non existence at all I can't quite recall at the moment.

    Value Of A Human Being

Dave-That's actually one reason why I became a born-again believer, from being an atheist, so many decades ago. Me- This suggests that there was another or perhaps several reasons that changed you from an atheist, if they're not too personal and it's not derailing the thread would you care to share them? I ask only because I find that sort of thing interesting and not to debate you on your reasons.
